And now, a minute with the Word…

Had not God’s providence superintended Israel’s every step from Egypt to Mt. Sinai? So why now, as they leave Mt. Sinai, do they doubt it will continue? “Is the LORD’s hand shortened?” (Numbers 11.23). Has not God’s providence superintended the scheme of redemption, from eternity past to the present day? So why now would we doubt it will continue, to fulfill His good will for us? “We who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us” (Hebrews 6.18). God is faithful!
