And now, a minute with the Word…

In verse 14 of Philippians 3, we see Paul “pressing toward the goal of the prize.” If we are to receive the reward of heaven, then we need do continue to press on. We need to grow as is mentioned in 2 Peter 3:18. Sometimes we don’t want to, sometimes we don’t feel like it, sometimes we are too busy. It is in those moments that we need to raise our eyes and focus on what has been promised, the goal of the prize, a home in heaven with our Lord.
