Week 24, Day 3 — A minute with the Word
Series: 2025 Bible ReadingAnd now, a minute with the Word…
“My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day, for their number is past my knowledge.” This last phrase of verse 15 reminds me of the old hymn, simply entitled “The Love Of God,” by Frederick Martin Lehman —
“Could we with ink the ocean fill, And were the skies of parchment made;
Were every stalk on earth a quill, And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above, Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole, Tho’ stretched from sky to sky.
O, love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong!
It shall for evermore endure, The saints’ and angels’ song.”
