Series: 2025 Bible ReadingAnd now, a minute with the Word…
Like Job (24.1-17), Solomon “saw under the sun that in the place of justice, even there was wickedness, and in the place of righteousness, even there was wickedness” (Ecclesiastes 3.16) — or more simply stated, things are not always as they should be. But also like Job (24.18-25), Solomon acknowledged that God would ultimately make all things right, because He alone “will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work” (Ecclesiastes 3.17). So, in the words of David (Psalm 37.1-3), “Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers,” but instead, “Trust in the LORD, and do good.”
