And now, a minute with the Word…

When the Lord gave instruction regarding the encampment of Israel’s tribes, He said, “They shall camp facing the tent of meeting on every side” (Numbers 2.2). Because the tent of meeting, i.e. tabernacle, marked God’s dwelling among them, they were to encamp with God in their midst and before their face, literally at the center of their lives. The principle stands today. “If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth” (Colossians 3.1-2).
